Asalamu alaikum namaste feel so privileged to hear the beautiful words of you all, and sons of Great Saint Ustad Miyan Shamsuddin Faridi Desai. I saw his picture about 45 years ago printed on a paper with some music "Daso'ham tava Daso'ham" in Bhairavi Rag. I have never forgotten it. Now a Veena is coming to me that Ustad Ji used to play. It is in the picture.

Ustad is like the universe definition of time is only for earth but not for the univers.there is no tools made for measuring mankind emotions that is why music has to come inside of you if that is not the case then leave it to god then you are not born with it I have learnt all of it from my respected father.
A real ustad is like ocean who never ends you can take a cup of water out of it you can take one glass of water out of it even you can take one well of water out of it.But he must be spritualy and technically highly advanced and knowledge of generations.

thanks your condolence and belive ..and love..now i will tell u a story about death of daddy.. I WAS STANDING WITH HIS DEAD BODY I OPEND HIS COFAN AND TAKE HIS HAND IN MY HAND HE WAS SO SOFT I WAS CRIYNG AND SUDDENLY HE GRAB MY HAND FOR 2 OR 3 SECOND AND LIVE MY HAND I DONT KNOW WHAT WAS THAT BT I LISTEN FROM MY FATHER SAINTS ARE NOT DEAD THEY ARE ALIVE
