ANCIENT INDIAN STRINGS

I began learning the Rudra-Veena with Shamsuddin Faridi desai, who also introduced me to the Indian way of learning and teaching, the Guru-Shishya relationship, which closely resembles that of father and son. After two years of studying, he chanced upon meeting Bahauddin Dagar, son of the greatest Rudra-Veena player Ustad Zia Mohiuddin Dagar and a great player himself,   and since 1998 i am studying with him.
