A real ustad is like ocean who never ends you can take a cup of water out of it. you can take one glass of water out of it even you can take one well of water out of it.But he must be spiritualist and technically highly advanced and knowledge of generations.Ustad is like the universe definition of time is only for earth. But not for the universe.There is no tools made for measuring mankind emotions that is why music has to come inside of you. If that is not the case then you are not born with it. But I have heard my father saying once if you are useless piece of metal then start living with gold you will also have some glittering out of the gold.That is why a good musical 24x7 atmosphere is required. where you take your 2breakfasts 2lunches and 2dinners 6 meals a day with music.Then there would be no one in your class. Because music is not mathematics like 2+2= 4. Music is from my outlook is a language which you have to learn with good musical accent and sentence making in clear crispy way within your gharana style. Gharana it could be a accent. it could be a identity it could be a face because human being recognise each other with their different faces it could be a colour.It could be your mother it could be your father.But Ultimately music is like a little drops makes the ocean. And I really mean it trust me.Almighty Allah God is great.
My father used to say his favourite line was as strong is your faith as good is your music For 35 years i lived my life with my dad's eyes that is why I am able to understand things with deepest connotation with musicality. Critically endangered 5000yrs old indian classical musical instrument rudraveena. It is a rare and dying instrument pronounced by indian government. Invented by lord shiva the god of music. It is now on the verge of extinction unfortunately there is only three original gharanas [old school of music] currently exist I do not want to take there names it a open fact.
It is a defunct culture of india. unfortunately this also an instrument which is called mother of all indian strings and vocal music.only two or three are playing this instrument formally.who have learnt it from their fathers. who where also renowned beenkar[ rudraveena vadak] I also recently heard in news that there is only 1400 tigers left in India. What about Rudraveena only 15 to 20 are left.
